ObjectiveTo study the effect and safety of external therapeutic ultrasound (ETUS) on the normal human body blood coagulation and fibrinolytic system. MethodsTwenty-five healthy volunteers were subjected to ETUS on the precordial region, and the parameter of ETUS was 0.8MHz, 1.2W/cm2, the subjects were treated for 15 minutes daily for 7 days. Before and after the end of treatment by ETUS, the GMP-140,TXB2,t-PA and PAI-1 were detected by ELISA or Chromogenic Substances. ResultsBefore the treatment, the levels of GMP-140,TXB2,t-PA and PAI-1 were 3.72±0.51ng/ml, 86.64±2.62pg/ml, 0.49±0.22IU/ml and 0.41±0.19AU/ml,respectively. After treatment, the levels of GMP-140,TXB2,t-PA and PAI-1 were 3.63±0.45ng/ml, 85.84±5.18pg/ml, 0.46±0.02IU/ml and 0.36±0.15AU/ml,respectively. Before and after treatment by ETUS, the levels of the above parameters had no significant changes(all P>0.05). ConclusionThe human body blood coagulation or fibrinolytic system was not activated or inhibited by ETUS under the condition of this study. |
